This week is National Nurses Week, and there is no better time to honor and celebrate our Kaiser Permanente nurses. Our nurses are at the heart of our care team, ensuring total health for our members every day.
The theme of this year’s National Nurses Week is: “Nurses Inspire, Innovate & Influence.” We could not agree with this sentiment more. During this special week, we recognize our nurses’ extraordinary efforts and the multitude of ways they support, care, treat, and heal our members. Our nurses are at the forefront of a changing health care environment, yet their compassion and commitment never wane. Their work is a critical reason why our region continues to provide top-notch care and earn accolades not only from organizations like the National Committee for Quality Assurance, but also from our valued members. Without our nurses, we simply would not be able to do the work we do.
We all work together every day to make Kaiser Permanente the best place to work and receive your health care. Please join us this week in giving your heartfelt thanks to our region’s more than 1,700 nurses who help all of us fulfill our mission to provide high-quality, affordable health care services to our members.
