Ride to Stop Diabetes: Join the Kaiser Permanente Northern Virginia Tour de Cure Team
Did you know that 29 million children and adults are living with diabetes? At Kaiser Permanente, we are dedicated to helping our members affected by diabetes manage their disease and thrive. Our commitment to excellence in diabetes care has helped us become national leaders for comprehensive diabetes care in both blood pressure control (<140/90) and eye exams, according to the 2016 National Committee for Quality Assurance’s Quality Compass® Data.
That’s why it’s a natural fit for us to extend our commitment to diabetes treatment and management to the American Diabetes Association’s (ADA) Northern Virginia Tour de Cure. For the seventh year in a row, Kaiser Permanente is a proud sponsor of the ADA’s Northern Virginia Tour de Cure, a premier cycling and fundraising event for diabetes research and educational programs. The event will take place on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at Reston Town Center in Reston, VA.

We want you on our KP Thrive team! The Tour is a ride, not a race, with routes designed for everyone from the occasional rider to the experienced cyclist.
WHO CAN JOIN: Anyone can join and all are welcome! Staff, physicians, family, and friends can participate. No bike? Bike rentals will be available for the day.

FUNDRAISING: There is a $250 minimum fundraising commitment for all riders.
