Kaiser Permanente has for many years had a large presence at the two largest Health Expos in this region: the NBC4 Health & Fitness Expo and the Fox45 B’More Healthy Expo. This year, we’ll be back with no-cost health screenings on the mobile vehicle and health activities for the whole family. This year, we are especially focused on mental health and wellness.
In total, more than 100,000 people from across the region attend the expos, making these events critical opportunities for Kaiser Permanente to improve the health of our communities by providing health education and expert medicine at no cost. It’s a great day to serve all – members and non-members – and have some fun while we’re at it!
Call for Volunteers!
We need at least 30 employee volunteers each day to help with a wide range of roles, including greeting guests, managing the pet therapy station, and passing out give-aways. All volunteers will receive a free Kaiser Permanente t-shirt. These are fun, lively days spent with your colleagues and neighbors, bringing health and wellness to the community. Friends, family, and children over 14 are welcome to volunteer, as well.

Even if you can’t volunteer, we hope you come to one or both expos. They are both open to the public and are no cost to attend. Come see the Kaiser Permanente booth and visit other booths to get even more tips on healthy eating, exercise, sleep, and more.
