We all know someone who gives to the community – gives time, talent, ideas, and more. That person who goes from a long day or week of work to a community, school, or church event. Who never tires of organizing donation drives and volunteer days. Who uses vacation time to travel to remote parts of the country or world to help those in need.

That person might work with you; it might even be you.

If so then we encourage you to nominate someone you know who fits the bill for the 2019 David Lawrence Community Service Awards (DLCSA). For more than a decade, Kaiser Permanente has recognized outstanding community service champions through this distinguished award. Each year, the DLCSA recognizes two individuals or teams in each Kaiser Permanente region who are going above and beyond in their community service. For each winner Kaiser Permanente also makes $10,000 contributions to organizations of their choosing.
