Compliance means doing things right and doing the right things—following all laws, regulations, standards, policies, and procedures. Compliance also helps us foster an environment of safety and trust for our members, physicians, and staff. This year’s theme for Compliance Week is “We ARE (Accountable, Respectful, Empowered) #kptrust”. This year’s business objective is to reinforce a culture where everyone is empowered to create a trustworthy and ethical work environment within ourselves, among our team members, and throughout the organization. Throughout the week, employees will receive information focusing on the importance of adhering to the highest ethical standards, and complying with all applicable state and federal laws, and accreditation standards.
