KPMAS employees and physicians showed their team spirit during the week of August 19, with celebrations around the region to gear up for this week’s Battle of the Beltways series between the Baltimore Orioles and Washington Nationals. As part of our sponsorships with the teams, the team mascots visited our medical centers at Capitol Hill and Largo on August 17 and 18, with a final celebration rounding out the week at Regional Office on August 19. At Regional Office, employees enjoyed ballpark fare, popcorn, Wii Mario Kart, corn hole, and a guessing game raffle. The lucky winner who guessed 444 baseball candies was Dora Obeng-Anim (the actual number of candies was 448, so she was very close!). She won a pair of tickets to a future game. Congratulations, Dora!
Employees around the region also got into the spirit–check out the slide show link here for more photos from Camp Springs, Gaithersburg, Capitol Hill, Largo, and Regional Office.
Don’t forget: All Kaiser Permanente employees can take advantage of discounted tickets to games, by going to kp.org/baseballtix. We hope to see you there!
