We are so proud to announce that Kaiser Permanente of the Mid-Atlantic States (KPMAS) is the highest-ranked health plan for customer satisfaction among commercial health plans in the region as listed in the J.D. Power 2016 Member Health Plan Study.

Nobody else comes close to our excellent performance.
The J.D. Power Member Health Plan Study measures member satisfaction among 135 health plans in 18 regions throughout the United States by examining the experience of a health plan member in six key areas:
- coverage and benefits
- cost
- provider choice
- customer service
- information and communication
- claims processing
The study reflects the results of a survey that was conducted from October through December 2015 and completed by more than 31,000 commercial health plan members throughout the U.S. Each health plan included in the study was measured on a scale of 1,000 points. KPMAS earned 749 points, 51 above the regional average and 38 above the next highest ranked health plan in the region. We also achieved the highest score in the information and communication, customer service, cost, and coverage and benefits study factors within the Mid-Atlantic region.
