KPMAS Kicks Off Light City Baltimore in the Opening Day Parade

1

With more than 100 employee volunteers including family and friends, KPMAS had a huge presence at Light City Baltimore’s opening parade.

Festival-goers lined the parade route, which started on Rash Field and ended on President Street, to view the impressive line-up of performers and companies who participated.

Our very own Doc Broc led the way as KPMAS volunteers rode illuminated bikes, handed out giveaways and showed off their Kaiser Permanente pride!

After the parade, the volunteers stopped by the Baltimore Harbor Medical Center which was illuminated in red, white and green to show support for our neighbor, Little Italy.

Check out the photos below to see our volunteers in action at the parade!

On Wednesday, 3/30 and Thursday, 3/31, KPMAS is presenting the Health Innovation Conference. Participate in our activities at the conference by tweeting your response to the question “how can we create a healthier future?” using the hashta #MyHealthyIdea and an artist may translate your response into a drawing on our giant #MyHealthyIdea Wall.

Light City Baltimore is free and is open all week. We encourage you to check out the four exhibits we are sponsoring on the 1.5 mile Light Art Walk located at the Inner Harbor: Lumen (#8), UP (#16), Labyrinth (#47) and The Pool (#54).

And, if you are active on social media, share photos of Light City with your friends and family, and use the hashtag #lightcity and #kpmidatlantic.
