This holiday season of giving at Kaiser Permanente Mid-Atlantic States, we are proud to support and make a positive impact in our community. Over the past couple of months, our team has made significant community building efforts in the DC, Maryland, and Virginia region.
Our team recently joined forces with New Psalmist Baptist Church for their annual Adopt-A-Family Holiday Giveaway. Onsite, we helped distribute bags of fresh produce to over 500 families, ensuring they have access to healthy food during the holiday season. At Kaiser Permanente, we are committed to helping families enjoy a happy and healthy holiday season.
Additionally, our Mid-Atlantic States employees and their families participated in National Wreaths Across America Day on December 14th in support of Wreaths Across America (see main photo above). This powerful day of volunteering allowed us to honor and remember the members of the military who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. A heartfelt thank you to all who contributed and showed their support for this meaningful cause.
Separately, our Thriving Schools program at Kaiser Permanente has been hard at work establishing connections between our various medical centers and local schools in the region. This initiative aims to provide support through donations of school supplies, food, and clothing, all while helping nurture well-rounded, responsible individuals who strive to reach their full potential.
We know that together we can create lasting change in our community into 2025 and beyond!
