August is National Breastfeeding Awareness Month. Dr. Fazi Sabi, Associate Medical Director for the Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group, and practicing Ob/Gyn physician, appeared on the Let’s Talk Live television news show to discuss the benefits and challenges of breastfeeding. The show aired Friday, August 19, and the focus of the discussion was regarding the question: Should women be allowed to breastfeed in public?
