Ainsley MacLean, M.D., Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group Regional Medical Director for Imaging Services, on Thursday, August 18 represented KPMAS on a panel that focuses on women in leadership roles.
Organized by the Washington Business Journal and the Washington Area Women’s Forum, the Women Who Lead: Secrets to Success speaking series shines a spotlight on women leaders in the region and the tips they have for future leaders. KPMAS is a sponsor of the series.
Dr. MacLean spoke about Kaiser Permanente’s commitment to diversity and mentor relationships. She also highlighted the importance of leaders understanding the needs of others – including patients in a medical setting. Check out a video clip here of Dr. MacLean speaking on the panel.
“In leadership, it’s not about me. It’s about the members of the team, my mentees and my patients,” Dr. MacLean said during the panel discussion.
Kaiser Permanente is proud to be ranked among the most diverse employers in the nation. Earlier this year, Kaiser Permanente ranked #1 on DiversityInc’s Top 50 Companies for Diversity list.
