A Message from Kim Horn and Dr. Bernadette Loftus: Thank You, KPMAS Nurses

0

National Nurses Week kicked off Saturday, May 6, and runs through Friday, May 12. During this week, please join us in thanking our nurses for ensuring that every member receives the exceptional clinical care that has made KPMAS #1 in the Mid-Atlantic. Whether in a Kaiser Permanente medical center, call center, or out in the community, our nurses help make our members healthier and their experiences with Kaiser Permanente testaments to service excellence.

As the heart of our health care team, our nurses play so many roles across the care continuum—they teach with experience; they listen with empathy; they comfort with compassion; they lead with pride. Through everything they do, our more than 1,600 Kaiser Permanente of the Mid-Atlantic States nurses embody our mission to provide the highest quality, affordable health care with extraordinary customer service for every patient, every time.

We all work together every day to make KPMAS a great place to work, and the best place to get your health care. As we thank our nurses this week, please take a moment to reflect on how, together, we’re making lives better.

To find out more about Nurses Week, we encourage you to visit the 2017 KP Nurses Week website, complete with a profile of Isolina Pistolessi, our region’s 2016 Kaiser Permanente Extraordinary Nurse Award winner, profiles of other regions’ winners, a message from Bernard Tyson, and more.
