Be among the first to test-drive our new digital membership card, available now on the Kaiser Permanente app. This new feature gives members like you convenient, secure digital access to their membership information (as well as for their dependents and proxies). Members can use the digital membership card wherever they currently use their physical cards at Kaiser Permanente facilities—to check in for appointments, pick up prescriptions, and provide proof of membership.
While the digital membership card is available to any eligible Mid-Atlantic States member who uses the Kaiser Permanente app, our outreach efforts during an initial internal promotion period will focus on employees and physicians who are KP members. During the internal promotion period, employee-members who use the card will help validate the functionality of this exciting new feature and ensure the digital card meets our members’ expectations. Later this year, we will actively promote the digital card to all members.

To use your digital membership card, make sure you have the latest version of the Kaiser Permanente app. Don’t yet have the Kaiser Permanente app? Download it today from iTunes or Google Play. Then, sign in using your kp.org registration information and tap the green card icon at the bottom of the app dashboard. Present your digital card when checking in for appointments and picking up prescriptions at Kaiser Permanente facilities. Our digital card doesn’t replace your physical card — yet — so don’t discard it! But it does provide peace of mind that you can access your membership information anytime, anywhere.
