As we continue to face the COVID-19 pandemic together, it’s clear that our nurses and other health care providers are nothing short of heroes. We are honoring and celebrating our nurses’ dedication to healing and their commitment to excellence this month.
This year’s theme is, “Nurses Make a Difference.” We couldn’t agree more with this sentiment. Our nurses truly make a difference in our members’ lives every day. Not only do our nurses ensure that our patients receive the highest quality of care in the nation, but they also provide this extraordinary care with exceptional compassion. Whether it’s a smile, comforting words, or a shoulder to cry on, our nurses are shining examples of compassionate care and service.
We are proud that we are all working together to take care of our patients. As we continue to battle the COVID-19 pandemic, all of our employees and physicians have proven time and again that we are here for our members, and each other, no matter what.
Please take a moment this month to recognize your fellow nurses and other members of the healthcare team for transforming care for our almost 800K members during this pandemic. We are in this together – even if we have to stay several feet apart – and together we save lives.
