Galway Elementary, a KPMAS partner school, is celebrating its second consecutive successful book tree/drive. The drive is sponsored by the local LMP Community Service team, and provides two books for every second grader attending the school.

“We enjoy seeing the excitement in the children’s eyes and hearing their gratitude,” said John Broesalme, KPMAS Medical Center Administrative Manager.

This year, in addition to presenting the books to the children, Medical Center employees volunteered to a read a book or two that were presented to the children.

“We all had a great time. This event and activity ties directly into our mission of caring for our communities like family,” said John.
