For the first time, we are partnering with Batala Washington, an all-women Afro-Brazilian band that plays Samba-Reggae rhythms, who will provide music as we march in the parade in Washington, DC.

Come join the 2017 KP Pride parade marching contingency and float! The parade steps off at 4:30 p.m. and ends at 7:30 p.m., traveling 1.5 miles through Dupont Circle and 17th Street and ending in the revitalized Logan Circle neighborhood. Time spent will go towards your Community Volunteer hours! We will need as many volunteers as possible to really make an impact. Drinks, snacks, KP THRIVE T-SHIRTS will be provided so that we look our absolute best!

Come show your KP Pride and volunteer at the Kaiser Permanente booth at the Capital Pride Festival! Our exhibit hours are 11am – 8pm and we ask for volunteers willing to sign up to man the Kaiser Permanente booth in 3 hour increments. Time spent will go towards your Community Volunteer hours! Drinks and snacks will be provided. KP THRIVE T-SHIRTS will be available to those who didn’t come to the parade.

Come join the 2017 KP Pride parade marching contingency and float! The parade steps off at 2PM traveling in Mt. Vernon, starting at Eager & N. Charles Street and proceeding north on Charles Street to North Ave. Time spent will go towards your Community Volunteer hours! We will need a great turnout of volunteers this year to really represent KP. Drinks, snacks, KP THRIVE T-SHIRTS will be provided so that we look our absolute best!
