Our world-class physicians are often tapped for their expertise and perspective on a range of medical topics. Recently, Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group’s District of Columbia and Suburban Maryland Neurology Chief Ejaz Shamim, MD has been featured several times as a medical expert on TOLO TV, an Afghanistan-based commercial television broadcaster. Appearing on TOLO TV’s health information show “Dabestan Bo Ali,” Dr. Shamim most recently taped an interview at the Voice of America studios in Washington DC with a TOLO TV host discussing meningitis. A link to that segment, with Dr. Shamim’s comments dubbed in Dari Persian (an Afghan variation of Farsi), can be found here.
