Kaiser Permanente Interim Regional President and COO Named as One of Maryland’s Top 100 Women

Kaiser Permanente is proud to announce that Emily Holliman, interim regional president and COO of Kaiser Permanente Mid-Atlantic States, has been named one of Maryland’s Top 100 Women by The Maryland Daily Record. This prestigious recognition honors Maryland leaders who are making a meaningful impact through their vision, mentorship, and service to the community. 

As interim regional president and COO, Holliman provides strategic leadership and executive oversight for operations across the entire Mid-Atlantic region, including Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia. In this role, she guides more than 8,200 employees in delivering high-quality, coordinated care to approximately 750,000 patients. Her leadership has strengthened operational excellence, supported teams at every level, and reinforced Kaiser Permanente’s commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care. 

Holliman is also deeply engaged in the broader Maryland community. She serves in leadership roles on several boards, including the Greater Washington Board of Trade and the Healthcare Council Board, where she champions initiatives that advance regional health and economic well-being.
