On June 30, our very own Donna Graves, KPMAS Small Group Sales Executive, was inducted as Chairman of the Board for Prince George’s County Chamber of Commerce at the Annual Membership Celebration. Donna, a Kaiser Permanente employee for almost 25 years, has served as a board member for the Chamber for about 5 years and worked her way up to the role of Chairman.

However, Donna wants to accomplish much more with this position. “I am a salesperson, so all I know is more,” she stated. “I want growth, and I want more board engagement. My goal is to grow the chamber to 1,000 active members.”

And she does not stop there. Donna’s position as Chairman will give our KPMAS sales group many opportunities by bridging relationships and helping us to partner internally and externally. Additionally, every KPMAS employee is a member of the Prince George’s County Chamber of Commerce, and Donna encourages everyone to get engaged with the many opportunities to serve on different committees. She is already overwhelmed with the support of her Kaiser Permanente colleagues and leadership team.

Prince George’s County Chamber of Commerce is one of the largest chambers within the region, and through Donna’s role as Chairman, Kaiser Permanente’s commitment to them grows even deeper. We have already invested $5.2 million dollars to Prince George’s County in the last 5 years as part of our community benefit initiatives. Donna refers to the Prince George’s County Chamber of Commerce as “the place of wealth creation.”

It is clear that Donna is passionate about her commitment to both Prince George’s County and Kaiser Permanente. “Prince George’s County is the place in which I live, I work, I play,” she stated. “I will serve and lead with grace, pride, and honor as I accept the position of Chairman on behalf of Kaiser Permanente.” Congratulations on this wonderful accomplishment, Donna!
