What would Nurses Week be without recognizing our lead nurse, Keva Matthews-Bailey, RN, in the Internal Medicine/Family Practice Department? Keva has been our “go to” lead nurse, colleague, and friend since I joined the Woodbridge Medical Center many years ago.
She has given up her scheduled days off to organize and work at our flu clinic. She can work the front desk when our receptionists are overwhelmed, calm the providers, and step in with staff decisions for the clinical operations manager.
She keeps us informed of our many protocol changes and her skills and knowledge are top-notch. Most importantly, Keva gives her all with heart and cares for her staff and patients.
