DESCRIPTION:Ride to Stop Diabetes: Join the Kaiser Permanente Northern Virginia Tour de Cure Team \nDid you know that 29 million children and adults are living with diabetes? The good news is that the American Diabetes Association is committed to creating a world free of diabetes and with your help we can realize that vision! \nFor the sixth year in a row\, Kaiser Permanente is a proud sponsor of the American Diabetes Association’s Northern Virginia Tour de Cure\, a premier cycling and fundraising event for diabetes research and educational programs. The event will take place on Sunday\, June 5\, 2016 at Reston Town Center in Reston\, VA. \nJOIN TEAM KP THRIVE! \nWe want you on our KP Thrive team! The Tour is a ride\, not a race\, with routes designed for everyone from the occasional rider to the experienced cyclist. \nWHO CAN JOIN: Anyone can join and all are welcome! Staff\, physicians\, family\, and friends can participate. No bike? Bike rentals will be available for the day. \nHOW TO JOIN: Go to Team KP Thrive and click on the “Join this Team” button. There is a $25 registration fee to join. The first twenty registrants will get a free registration by entering the code: KAISER2016. \nFUNDRAISING: There is a $250 minimum fundraising commitment for all riders. \nDON’T DELAY\, REGISTER TODAY!
